
CONNECTING-1M PROJECT
Workplace Capacity Development is deigned to deliver the core objective of the Connecting-1M Project; an employability and capacity development initiative designed to strategically bridge the gap between academic qualification and workplace readiness. The project aims to equip one million Nigerian fresh graduates with the critical skills, competencies, and professional mindset required to thrive in today’s fast-evolving, technology-driven workplace. Through a structured blend of industry-relevant training, professional certification, and guided mentorship, Connecting-1M prepares young graduates to meet modern employer expectations, enhance their competitiveness in the labour market, and transition confidently into meaningful employment and career growth opportunities.
Eligibility:
Only candidates who have graduated from a higher institution within the last three (3) years are eligible to enroll.
Note: No Training Fee
Participants are not required to pay any fee for the training. However, a certification fee of ₦2,800 shall apply per course upon successful completion of the training.
The certification fee becomes payable only after the completion of training for each course and prior to the post-training assessment and issuance of certification.
Certifications:
Candidates are required to select a minimum of six courses from the program catalogue below. A certificate will be awarded for each course successfully completed, meaning that each participant will earn at least six professional certifications upon completion of the program.
Mentorship:
Upon completing the training and certifications, participants will receive exclusive mentorship and career support, including:
- Employment assistance for job opportunities
- Internship assistance for practical experience
- CV development and optimization
- Guidance on career progression
These services are designed to empower participants to confidently transition into meaningful employment and achieve long-term career growth.
